Paul began his career with Shanahan Transportation Systems in 1994, and is one of the longest tenured members of our staff.  Paul's experience began in the early '60s as a shipping clerk with FESCO, a plastics manufacturing company, over 22 years he eventually worked his way up to being assistant traffic manager.  In 1983 he was hired as the Traffic Manager at Elkem Metals Company in Pittsburgh, PA.  Over those years he earned the respect of his carriers and vendors alike, and developed a strong knowledge and understanding of supply chains vital to the metals industry and brought that level of expertise to our company.  Since then, Paul has developed and maintained many corporate accounts across the U.S. and Canada.  His background and experience has been priceless to us in our operation, and he continues to work to improve our customer service and operational expertise.
